All I need is here
I had the original OMD EM5 for a long time (still working) and waited with an upgrade until the end of 2018, then lost patience and bought EM5 Mark II, which provides a noticeably better pictures in challenging conditions. I was not going to buy Mark III so soon but could not resist when the price dropped. Again, a noticeably better sensor. I haven't had time to do a lot of shooting yet, but am confident I have made the right choice. One thing I am still trying to figure out is the benefit of the USB charging if I cannot use a regular 5V USB power supply. Maybe I'll publish this as a question here. There is nothing wrong with having two cameras: this way, you don't need to change those excellent 12-40mm and 40-150mm f/2.8 Pro lenses which cover a very useful range extremely well. And, if something goes wrong with one camera you have another one as a backup ;-)

Great features in a compact, lightweight body!
I moved up from my E-M5 MarkII. I wear glasses and larger eyepiece was important to me. Also shoot lots of wildlife so better focusing was a big plus. I also like that the ergomomics, size and weight were slightly improved. I was concerned about the composite construction but it feels solid and well built. Overall, I am very happy with the camera!

Great street/travel camera, a EM1 Mark II in smaller package
I enjoyed using the OM-D E-M1 mark ii and when the EM5 mark iii came out I knew pretty much what to expect. I have used all previous EM5s too. This new EM5 mark iii is a mini EM1 mii, considerably lighter, though missing a few features that, at least for me, is not a problem. The size is great, for me, and the extra bump is sufficient for comfortable ergonomic handling (em5 mii wasn't as comfortable). EM1 mark ii use to be the flagship pro OMD, so I think this 5 does all that I require, I shoot mostly street and travel. I didn't buy kit lens, to me this camera is ideal for primes.

Great Camera, Good job Olympus with the new Mini M1 Mark II
Just traded up from M10 Mark III to the M5 Mark III. Once I had it in my hands I could feel a better balance of the camera. I first spent the time to go thru the menu to custom the camera to my liking and didn't find it difficult at all. Spent the day walking around taking shots and could immediately tell the improvement on the pixels and viewfinder and the pictures themselves. The quickness of auto focus was evident and the controls easy to find. Came home and uploaded the pics to Olympus Workspace and was AMAZED of the results. Can't wait for this November when I will be in Munich on Vaca with this camera. So glad I got the mini M1 Mark II. Good job Olympus.

Great camera!!
Moved from heavy Canon equipment to the OMD5-Mark III. Easy to carry and shoot. Learning curve may take some time but will be well worth the time.
