Great Macro Lens And A Great Portrate Lens
This is one of the sharpest lenses that I have used. I prefer macro lenses that are longer than 50mm FF. This lens fits that bill. I recently went to the NYC Botanical Garden to try out the lens as I just bought it. I took a series of photos of flowers, butterflies and insects. This lens also takes wonderful portrates. I used it taking pictures of my grand daughter. This lens because it is a macro needs the manual clutch. That's why I took off a star.

More than just a macro
Fantastic Macro lens. Makes handheld macro a possibility. It's also a really sharp telephoto that works really well for portraits.

Funny Looking But Fast
This lens is capable of producing incredibly sharp macro images, as well general "close-up" work. It is easy to learn, although I am still not confident in using the little switch on the lens body. As usual, the included instructions are nigh unto worthless. It looks a little funny on my OM-D EM-1 Mark II, almost like a toy, but the autofocus is extremely fast, so who really cares. I have not used it yet in more general circumstances (like other reviewers), but it is lightweight and easy to carry, so I plan to keep carrying it around and using it in a variety of situations.

Use frequently
This is a great moderate telephoto, I use alot for general shooting as well as macro, the switch on the side makes it focus better and quicker, I used to have a macro without it and it was a major pain, it would focus all the way in and out trying to find the focus point but with this I choose between macro or standard or both and it works well
