A giant of a little lens.
An unbelievable buy for this focal range especially when you consider its size compared to its 35mm equivalents. Excellent performance up to 200mm and OK beyond that. I am comparing its performance to my 70-300mm Canon L on an 18 megapixel APS-C body.

Zoom to the stars
I love this lens. It is a great telephoto lens for shooting nature and wildlife. I have shot many beautiful images of the moon while on a tripod of course. The images come out very sharp and detailed. I am very please with this lens and highly recommend it in your gear bag.

Very Pleased
I got this lens as a Christmas gift and have taken it out several times now for some nature and wildlife shots. I am very Impressed with this lens and the ability to get clear shots even without a tripod.

Reach out!
Perfect lens to reach out and get that shot. Lightweight and smooth. The price was perfect for what you get. I would've given it five stars if it was weatherproof

A joy to use when lighting permits
In my former 4/3 system, I used the 50-200MM zoom. That lens was a beautiful piece - well made, sharp and fast to focus. It was better in low light than this lens but that is the only advantage. Given adequate light, this lens is shockingly fast to focus and crystal clear. It is much smaller and lighter. On the EM-1, it handles like the normal zoom on the E-3. It is not as gorgeous a work of art as the old 4/3 lens but at this price its construction is more than acceptable.
