Great all around lens
I purchased this lens a few months after I got my OM-D E-M5 Mark II with kit lens. I bought it reconditioned from this site, which put it in my budget. unfortunately I only had this beauty on my camera for a few weeks before it fell out of my pack and onto the pavement many feet below. I held my breath as I assessed the damage. To my surprise the camera body and lens survived without any internal damage. The only visible damage is where impact occurred on the lens cap and the plastic ring it attaches to. So the only bummer is I can't attach a filter because the threads are crushed, but I can still get the lens cap on. I've seen other cameras fall from lesser heights on to cushion-y grass and the owner is instantly out a few grand with a useless lens and camera body. So it's durability is outstanding! Weatherproof, and overall solid build. Fast quiet auto focusing, with a 25-80 35mm equivalent, this lens is a must. I do have to agree with other reviews that I have an issue with the lens hood and the lens cap falling apart. I've had to put them back together multiple times and luckily I haven't lost any of the little springs that would otherwise make these pieces useless.

Weather proof all around lens
My favorite lens hands down. I love this lens for traveling. From street to portrait, to bad weather landscape. Combined with my OMD having this weatherproof set up is perfect.

Almost Never Leaves the Body
First ever Olympus lens that I purchased. Using it on a regular basis on my new E-M10 Mark II. It has quite literally not left the body (even though the 60mm Macro, 7-14mm 2.8 and 40-150mm 2.8 are all available). This has to be one of the (if not the) sharpest lens that I have used (been through Canon, Nikon and Sony before settling on Olympus). Its also amazing how close this lens can get to the subject and almost (almost!) rendering my macro lens negligible. Highly recommend this lens. The price is more than worth it when comparing it to its equivalent brethren on APS-C or Full Frame formats.
