Macro photography is all about the details – and this lens is powerful enough to pick up fine minute details at close distances! Featuring a 2x* magnification and minimum focusing distance of about 7-and-a-half inches it strikes a nice balance between just close enough and not so close you’ll cast shadows on the scene. It’s also worth noting that the 60mm Macro features an extremely bright f2.8 maximum aperture for superb low-light performance and advanced construction employing no less than 13 separate lens elements in 10 groups including some high-end glass materials to help eliminate chromatic aberrations.

    The 60mm has a Focus Limit Switch, which allows you to establish a narrower range of focus and zero in on your subject faster – particularly useful in shallow-depth-of-field macro shooting. A perfection for Macro photography.

The Zuiko ED 60mm F2.8 Macro Lens is my favorite if it comes to Macro photography. It is sharp, quick, and accurate. It's also very shallow, creating incredible boeken. At first, you have to learn how to use it. How it reacts, and how to best explore it. After this, the lens will show you it's an incredible performance. I highly recommend Zuilo ED 60mm F2.8 for its brilliant performance.

Stellar Macro Lens from Olympus!

What I like the most about this lens is the fact that combined with a the m43 system, you gain a deeper depth of field when compared to Full Frame system or even APS-C. It is a sharp lens, completely silent lens as well if you ever plan to do video with it.

You'll thank yourself.

Not a pro here, but wow was I blown away by the crystal clarity of this lens. Learned a lot about the value of a multicoated filter immediately, too.
