Mobility, Convenience, Features!
I sold all my 43rd gear to upgrade to EM1 II. First, I was not sure if it was the right move but I was compelled because of the on-line reviews it gets especially those photographers that switched from one manufacturer to Olympus. At the back of my mind, this will be a win-win situation for me since I am already familiar with the system and I have been using it for about ten years now so I pulled trigger! First impressions out of the box was the camera is very solid, like the tank just like my E-5 and I'm pretty sure that the weather sealing is just as reliable as my previous camera. When I started to dig into the menus and features...boy it blew my mind! One of the features that really stood out was the Pro Capture Mode- now I can take pictures even before it happens. Of course, this review will not be over without me mentioning the IBIS. It was already great in the EM-5 and now its phenomenal in this camera plus the 4K movie mode is a real plus! I cannot wait for my next tour travel with my wife to unleash the capabilities of this camera! Truly it is mobility, convenience and features in one package!

Lowlight photos of flying birds with 75-300mm zoom
That last software update was BRILLIANT! Today I was shooting in golden hour, taking handheld photos of flying swans at range, with the 75-300 zoom. Excellent results. More than that you could see the stabilization working in the viewfinder. Best camera ever!

My next camera!
I've rented this camera a few times, and loved the experience each and every time. I still use my E-M1 MK I to this day, but I find myself yearning for more - more battery life, more grip and more accurate/faster AF (E-M1x is too much camera for me). Soon my OMD family will be expanding.
