Why does Olympus offer a rewards program?
Olympus started Olympus Rewards to give back to our most loyal customers. You are automatically enrolled when you register on our site. If you’re an existing customer, you’ve automatically been enrolled. It’s free to join. Sign up or log in.
What are the rules for earning points?
Points earned for purchasing one of our products will be awarded 30 days after purchase. Points for signing up for Tips & Savings may take 24-48 hrs. to be credited to your account. Other point earning actions are credited immediately upon successful completion of the action. Some actions have a monthly or annual limit. If you return a product that you had been awarded points for purchasing, the points will be deducted from your account. Click here to learn more about our Terms & Conditions.
How do I redeem my points?
Simply log into your account and click My Rewards to see your points balance. When you’re in the cart and ready to check out, choose an available rewards gift card that’d you like to use for your purchase. You may only choose 1 available rewards gift card denomination per purchase. As you accumulate more points, additional gift cards of higher values will become available up to 10,000 points.
How do I redeem all my rewards?
Upon checkout, you will see a Rewards Redeem box with available rewards that you have earned in the drop down. You can only redeem one reward certificate per order and we recommend you choose the the highest reward certificate available to you. Once you use a reward, that amount is now removed from the list in the future, and can affect other rewards listed as you have now used some of those points. Keep in mind you need to have at least $50 in products added to your cart to be able to redeem a reward.
Can I share my points?
Users are not allowed to give, share or combine their points. Points are non-transferrable.
Do my points expire?
We reserve the right to close your account at anytime if there is no account activity for a period of two (2) years, which will result in the forfeiture of any and all accumulated Rewards. For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions, “account activity” shall mean any purchases, downloading content, uploading content, or logging on. Olympus shall reasonably determine if an account is inactive at its sole and absolute discretion.
Can I use points on my first order?
Sure; as long as you have an available gift card to redeem in the cart.
How do I know how many points I have?
Sign into your account and click My Rewards and your points balance will be displayed.
Do I have to be registered on the site to earn points?
Yes. Registration is free and easy. Start earning points today!
What if I already have an Olympus account?
Current GetOlympus.com account holders & email subscribers will automatically be enrolled and start receiving the benefits of the Olympus Rewards program as of March 18th, 2015.
How long after my store purchase do the reward points post my account?
Olympus will post earned reward points within 30 days of purchasing a qualified product. Points can be redeemed immediately as long as a rewards gift card is available in the cart.
Why didn’t I receive my points for signing up for tips & savings?
If you are already an email subscriber, you are not eligible for additional sign up points. If you are a new subscriber, it may take 24-48 hours until the activity is recorded and points are credited to your account.
Why didn’t I receive points for sharing an Olympus link on social media?
You receive points immediately for sharing socially when someone clicks on your shared link. You will not receive points for simply sharing or emailing a link and recommend that you make sure you are logged into your account before sharing. You can find sharing buttons on the upper right side of the product pages and a referral link located inside your my rewards dashboard.
Why didn’t I receive points for purchasing reconditioned products or parts?
Olympus-certified reconditioned products and replacement parts are not eligible for Olympus Rewards; points cannot be earned nor can available gift cards be redeemed on these products.
Why can’t I redeem a rewards gift card on my purchase?
You may not have enough points to receive a rewards gift card. You may be purchasing reconditioned products or replacement parts. Or, your subtotal may be less than $50.00. Available reward gift cards cannot be redeemed on orders less than $50.00 or on purchases of reconditioned products or replacement parts.
How many reward points will I earn on my purchase?
Olympus rewards 1 point for every dollar spent. On occasion, Olympus may offer additional points on a particular product.
Why can’t I use a discount code AND an available rewards gift card on my purchase?
Olympus Rewards available gift cards cannot be combined with other Olympus coupons at this time.
What happened to my available gift card coupon code and/or available points after I didn’t complete my order?
Simply log-in to your account and click on My Rewards. Click on the Manage Rewards tab. You will see that the available gift card and corresponding code is listed and still available for redemption. Simply copy the reward code listed and paste the code into the coupon field under the Discount Codes section of the shopping cart. Click Apply Coupon and your available rewards gift card discount will be applied. Once you complete your order, the reward code used is no longer active.
Can I earn Olympus Reward points when purchasing from a retailer?
Olympus Rewards is an exclusive program to GetOlympus.com, outside purchases would not be applicable.
