Good Value
This lens was the only telephoto option I could afford, but I have not been disappointed. It is at its' best in the middle of the zoom range, and I have been very happy with some of the shots I have gotten with this relatively inexpensive lens. It is quite light and compact as well, so I can carry everything in a small bag. Even if I had the higher end f2.8 lens I would still want this one because of its' portability.

This is a great carry-around zoom.
Good zoom range. Great outdoors. Quick focusing. Large zoom ring is nice but moves the manual focus ring out farther. Lightweight. Bright enough outdoors don't always need a tripod/stabilizer at longest range.

A fantastic beginner telephoto lens
I am a total photography newbie. The E-PL6 is my first "real" camera aside from a couple point and shoots. I have captured some seriously clean pictures from this bad boy and it goes on sale all the time. To anyone just starting out or on a budget, you can't go wrong here. My only gripe with these cheaper lenses is that the mounts are made of plastic instead of metal until you hit about the $300 mark with Olympus.

Excellent lens - versatile
This lens is excellent for easy point and shoot, portraits, distance shooting... all of the above! It's very versatile and was an excellent, modern, addition to our E-M10 Mark II camera and old OM lenses from the 70s and 80s. Would highly recommend.

Great Value
Great lens for the money. Well-made, light, compact, and works well with the camera. It is easily and quickly "swapped" with other lenses. The image is sharp at all settings. It's great for traveling and birding and fits easily into day sack. This is the perfect lens when combined with the 14-42 that came with the camera. I imagine I will have this for many years to come and will haul it all over the world.
