Tough and Great Results
The TG-4 I have is in addition to my OMD E5 Mark II. I don't have to worry with this camera about leaving it in my car's console, carrying it in my pocket or using it at the dog park with the blowing sand. The camera is easy to use and has many of the features of my main camera and the pictures are great.

After researching, reading reviews & blogs, I chose to purchase the TG-4. I needed a new camera for the birth of my 2nd grandson. I also wanted a shockproof, waterproof camera. This is absolutely perfect. The TG-4 isn't heavy, easy to use and the picture
Perfect choice for me!

Scuba Instructor LOVES the Olympus Tough TG-4
I am a scuba instructor in South Florida; and have taken the Olympus Tough TG-4 on over 150 dives. The camera is simply amazing and easily rivals the "big" camera rigs on the dive boat brought by other underwater photographers. One of the nice features of the camera is that it goes, by itself, to 50', which means, even if the underwater housing (PT-056: with this, you can take the camera to 150') leaks, you still won't have a ruined camera or lose your data card so your pictures are safe! I ROUTINELY get comments on my dive photos of OMG, that's an awesome photo, and I wish Olympus would let us post our photos as part of this review. It is simply a great camera! Since we can even take photos in RAW (which few other inexpensive cameras allow), the editing capability of Raw allows a wide range of artistic changes to our photos. Bottom line: For underwater photography, the Olympus Tough TG-4 is the bomb!

Great Little Camera - Best I've Had Yet
This is the best underwater camera I have had yet, had 3 prior makes and making shooting changes underwater was very difficult with other models. Olympus's menus and mode dial features make it easy to adjust. Picture and movie quality is also great and once set for underwater, colour correction is the same for stills or video. Only had 2 concerns; 1) is there is no raised areas on the back of the camera to protect the monitor so it can get scratched easily and 2) the file naming convention makes it difficult when having 2 cameras - one for me and one for my wife, there is no way to keep photos separate for movie making; also when you format the memory card or do an erase all, the pictures start back at -0001, not at your last photo number - very difficult to manage your files.

Can take rough handling easily
Love this camera! Let my grandchildren and nieces and nephew use it with no worries about it getting damaged. It's so easy to use even my 5yr old takes amazing portrait and landscapes with it. It is very user friendly. The older children love playing with different settings. Three members of my family got one after seeing the results of mine and how safe it is in the hands of young ones. Picture quality is awesome!
