I needed a new point and shoot for intraoral photos in my dental office. I wanted something small and simple to make it easy to carry between my offices. I needed a fast lens as light is not always great in a dental office. It needed a ring flash. Wow. I could buy a ring flash accessory that just snapped on the front of the camera. It needed high quality optics at the photos were being used for teaching and lecture purposes. Even better, the unit was water resistant, it could be wiped won with a mild antiseptic product. The zoom function also read out numerically where it was positioned, so I could be consistent from photo to photo. Furthermore, the exposures have been perfect using the flash always on and aperture priority. Results better than my SLR with a dedicated ring flash. Thank you Olympus.
