I have been using OLY cameras since the early 1970s. Was on a plane flight from NYC to Chicago and a seat mate asked to see the camera I was carrying-Leica III F red dial. After he saw my camera he asked if I wanted to see his new camera which was an OM-1!
I was so impressed with the camera size and the bright finder that I ordered one after the flight. From there on I have owned every OM SLR made and my fav was the OM-2s!!!!!!!!!!!!
In 2006 I sold all my OLY, Leica, Contax and Hassy cameras and bought an Oly E-500. To date This is my favorite camera-the sensor is anazing even though I own an OM-D E-M10, E-30, and an E-PM-2
very bright when used with E-PM2
very easy operation
makes picture taking with E=PM2 a joy esp in bright light when back screen may not be easy to use

Placed this on my XZ-2 and the view through it looks great. Really helps taking photos in bright sunshine and I couldn't live without it. Looks much better than other viewfinders I have seen on other camera brands. This is probably one of the very best out there. I had replaced a VF-2 that I had previously and this is much clearer and brighter. It's worth the upgrade.

I have an XZ-2, great camera, and the articulated screen is great. But sometimes a viewfinder delivers that needed precision. This does and then some. I am now considering other Olympus Cameras that will accept this unit. Sorta a Swiss Army Knife approach to a need.

Bought for my EP-5. Best Viewfinder for this camera eye sensor only works with this model. Almost as good as optical viewfinder.

Expensive but worth it ! Using on E-PM2(firmware update needed) quite a remarkable piece of technology, A MUST HAVE piece of equipment. Viewfinder image is tack sharp with nice color rendition.

I received this as a gift (from the best girlfriend on the planet) and it is amazingly good, it's extremely sharp and quite bright, makes focusing a breeze. Currently using it on an E-PL5, and it is a great pair, I highly recommend the VF-4, it's not optical, but I think it's as close as you can get. Thanks ~C
