A great camera for a great price.

I shot 35mm slr's for years, but have just used point and shoot cameras in the digital age. The E-PM1 offers nearly everything the digital SLR's have at a much better price.

I want to take more pictures!

I am so intimidated with big DSLR cameras but would like to have an upgrade from my point and shoot. This camera fits my need from having the user friendly features, compact size and my budget. Overall, I am satisfied and amazed with the excellent images. Thank you Olympus!

Portability with a kick

I'm very impressed with the capturing ability of the Olympus E-PM1 pen camera. I'm relatively new to the DSLR world, though I know I can aim at a particular subject and capture the best I can-the E-PM 1 enabled me to express the view that I wanted to capture. My creativity instantly multiplied using this powerful portable camera.
I often stop to smell the roses when I can...Now I can also capture images of the roses through the Olympus E-PM1.

Underwater Photography

This in my opinion is the most versitile camera to come out for underwater use since the digital age started. With the 4:3 system and compact size it gives as good a quality picture as any large DSLR on the market. It also has the versitlity to do super macro in one photo and because of the use of wet lense macro magnifiers, be able to remove that lense and take a photo at 28mm of a turtle in the next shot. I am a small person and refused to change to digital until I could find a camera with equal quality and compactness to an underwater film camera . This is it. I have not found anything not to love about this camera. I can go anywhere from 3/8 inch squat lobster to a shark that is fairly close all on the same lense, and it is not heavy or bulky.

Awesome System Camera

I live in very active community. The performance of the camera in capturing events for posting on facebook has been impressve. The e-portrait feature in particular has been a huge hit. The ladies are saying its a GREAT camera- no wrinkles : )

This is a great small camera with features of the larger cameras. I love the fact that I can change lenses for different situations. I'm still learning the features but I love the camera so far.

At the present time I'm rating this camera as GREAT although I am still learning about it. All of the features that I have explored are amazing. I want to get to know the camera better. Right now the feature I like best is the weight.I'm sure there will be more as I get more familiar with the camera.

Perfect blend of size and function

Small enough to carry when you don't want to be lugging a huge camera plus it has great picture quality and shooting options. Fast autofocus is perfect for working with kids. My wife and I could not be more pleased with this camera.

Overall easy to use and produces great shots

The E-PM1 was very easy to use. The menus allow quick access when taking pictures. I found myself using them much more than I would have imagined. I have had other Digital point and shoot cameras and never utilized their special functions.

I was very impressed with the way the camera analyzed a scene and the way it adjusted for dark and light areas was much better than I have been used to. My photos came out great.

The Art Filters are also easy to access and allows me to do more with an image. The Art Filers weren't something I was looking for but I have found that I use them quite a bit now.

I love the interchangeable lenses, too.

The lightweight, compact camera and lenses didn't make carrying it around all day burdensome.

The LCD screen was much better in bright light situations than I had thought it would be.

Overall, I am really happy with my E-PM1. I am glad I made the decision to go with E-PM1.
