Great Features

This camera was a gift. I was holding out for a DSLR purchase and had been looking at another brand point and shoot for the panorama capabilities until I could afford the DSLR. I'm very impressed with this camera for the features and host of "automatic" and "preset" modes. I'm an interior designer and amateur photographer...and this camera will provide the features I need for a long time. The flexibility of settings, both manual and preset, seems to be as extensive as a DSLR and the zoom provides most options for shooting distances and wide angle. The automatic panoramic stitching mode works well for interior shots but distorts at distance with more than two side-by-side shots. However, some interesting effects can be achieved with "offset" images. Overall...a great camera and more compact than a DSLR!

the zoom feature is it's best asset

I find it really good for daylight work, the zoom feature especially, not quite so good in conditions where you want do take snapshots indoors of people that are moblie, Ie not posing.

More quality and features for the purchase price

First, I am a returning buyer, user. I have several of your products and know Im' always getting the best quality, backed by service when I see the Olympus name. The camer is water proof, compact and does more things than I expected, I'll call the camera Langanape,, an expression meaning an unexpected gift or pleasure.

Thank you for the opportunity to toot my horn about the latest purchase of the excellent camera.

Disappointed

I was very disappointed that there was not an instructional manual included with my camera purchase. Instead, I had to copy 77 pages from
the downloaded instruction on-line. As a result,
I have not had any time to use my camera since I was busy trying to figure our the whole
downloading and copying process. What is the
point of not including a preprinted manual with
the purchase of the camera?

Glare on screen

there is no small viewfinder to look into, only the screeen and in sulight the glare on the screen makes it difficult to see the scene you are photographing. The finished photos are great. It is lightweight and fairly easy to use othe than the glare is sun

Nice weight

I wanted a camera that had all the features of this camera but that seemed to make a camera heavy. I have a neck problem and need a camera that isn't to heavy.
This Olympus was my answer! It takes great pictures has the features and zoom that I wanted but is of lighter weight.
So for me it is perfecxt! Thank you Olympus.
