- Overview
-
This 3x standard zoom lens is the smallest and lightest* in its class and features a closest focusing distance of only 25cm. The ED (Extra-low Dispersion) and two aspherical lens elements correct aberrations without increasing lens dimensions. The circular aperture diaphragm enables beautiful defocusing - one of the big advantages of this lens.Excellent mobility is assured by a weight of less than 190 grams.
*Among interchangeable lenses for SLR camera, As of January, 2007.
Directly compatible with E-System cameras. Compatible with Micro Four Thirds digital cameras (PEN\OM-D) through use of the MMF-2 or MMF-3 (Four Thirds Lens Adapter to Micro Four Thirds Lens Adapter). The MMF-3 is dust and splash proof for use with that type of lens on a dust and splash proof body. Note, AF performance may diminish as compared to being on an E-System body.

Above-average Lens for Novice
As a kit len I'm floored by the quality of the pictures. I'm lost for words, kit lens are made quickly to cut cost. If Olympus offer a metal mount in the future, I might upgrade. But it will diffcult to let go. Good jobs Tatsuno for this workmanship
