  • A LENS FOR ALL SEASONS

Weatherproof seals in 11 separate locations on the lens body make the M.Zuiko 7-14mm PRO lens virtually impervious to dust and moisture. Capture stunning images of nature in the raw without worrying about ocean spray, waterfalls or torrential downpours!

  • MACRO SCOPE

The M.Zuiko PRO 7-14mm’s working distance of just under 2.9 inches (7.5cm) from the front of the lens – allows you to move in tight on macro subjects, while the lens’s ultra-wide field of view captures more of the background for added drama. Maximum image magnification is 0.12x (0.24x 35mm equivalent).

  • THE SILENCE OF THE LENS

Videographers and street shooters will really appreciate the M.Zuiko 7-14mm PRO’s unique MSC (Movie-Still Compatible) mechanism, which provides swift, nearly silent autofocus operation. • SHOOT IT YOUR WAY

If you like adjusting camera settings on the fly, the M.Zuiko 7-14mm PRO makes it as easy as pushing a button – the L-Fn button. Assign any of 27 functions to the button, which is positioned right on the lens barrel for easy access. Another cool feature is the Manual Focus Clutch mechanism; switch instantly between auto and manual focus by simply pulling the focus ring toward you.

Fantastic
This is a great wide zoom, with a 35mm equivalent of approximately 14-28mm. This is a tad wider than my 16-35mm 2.8 L series Canon lens. Although has less at the "long" end, when I go to this lens I am always looking at the wider end anyway; if I want a standard wide angle view, I will bolt on the M. Zuiko 12-40mm 2.8 Pro (approx 24-80mm 35mm equivalent) which covers the standard wide angle range pretty well. In fact, I can remember at one time 24mm was considered a pretty extreme wide angle. This lens is pretty large and heavy by Micro Four Thirds standards; in fact, it is very close in size and weight to my afore-mentioned full frame 16-35mm 2.8L Canon lens. However, it is definitely worth the size and weight penalty. The build quality is superb, and I have been extremely happy with the optical performance. I do like the manual focus clutch that allows me to switch from AF to manual focus with the feel of a real manual focus lens. At 2.8 it is pretty fast for a wide angle zoom. This is the most expensive piece of glass I have gotten for my Micro Four Thirds system, but the quality justifies the cost. If you need a super wide zoom, this is your lens.

Fast and sharp.
This lens has performed flawlessly for me. Whether using it for Macro work, old church interiors or landscapes its optics and speed have rewarded me with great images. It achieves near fisheye effects when at the widest end of its range which may take some time to anticipate but can usually be corrected, if not desired, in post processing. Low light performance is stellar. The only negative is the lack of accommodation for filters, but there are aftermarket adapters that will work. Wonderful lens!

Great wide angle lens
This lens is a terrific lens, although quite expensive, but worth the money for the image quality.
