Good Job...
I prefer adapting and using Manual focus lenses to my M 4/3rds bodies, but I decided to add the M.Z. 40-150mm just to have AF on the longer end.
I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this simple consumer lens; light-weight, decent af speed and accuracy along with good detail and rendition from 40 to 150mm and wide open.
It is a good kit lens, and an excellent value when on sale. -

FANTASTIC VALUE- THIS COMPLETES MY LENS RANGE
Olympus Om2 , Om4 was my start to becoming a Professional Photographer back in 1984 so I was thrilled to see that they released the OM D E-5, I bought this camera for its Video capability which is excellent with the 12mm-50mm Lens (24mm-100mm 35mm Equivalent) but the still photos were also excellent, when I saw that they had this Lens 40mm-150mm (80mm-300mm 35mm Equivalent) Now I'm covered from 24mm wide to 300 telephoto (35mm Equivalent) of course. I am not sorry I bought this lens, it is fantastic a tad soft at the high range but very very acceptable. So don't hesitate get this lens it will make you very happy with your results.

Great all 'round mid/tele zoom
I got this lens when it first came out for its range, size and weight, then worked hard to learn how to use it right. I found it worked best on both my cameras (E-PL1 and E-PL2) in the manual+auto mode so I could tweak focus manually when needed. I also found it worked best with the VF-2 electronic viewfinder, as handholding such a long tele while using live-view was awkward.
But once I got used to it, it delivers. I did a safari in Kenya and Zambia this spring and carried nothing but the two cameras, the E-PL2 with the kit 14-42 (II version) and the E-PL1 with the 40-150 and VF-2.
On my living room wall is a 30X40" print of an elephant taken with this lens (see below) that is simply amazing! Don't let someone convince you that you can't get that kind of print from a M4/3 camera - at least a Oly!
And I saw a unique encounter between a Dik-Dik (a tiny antelope) and a python that I shot video on to post on YouTube (linked below.)
