Everyday workhorse
This is my most used lens, due to the versatility and image quality- comes handy with the focus ring and the lens-button, perfectly balanced on my E-M1 II. If I would be only able to have one lens I would pick this one

My go-to walkaround lens
This lens is everything I could hope for in a small, fast, well built and weather sealed walkaround lens. It’s sharp wide open, and super compact as the MFT equivalent of the ubiquitous 24-70 f/2.8 lenses for full frame, few of which are available with image stabilization (provided by my EM1.2). I own the Tamron 24-70 2.8 VC for my Canon 5D3 and this lens, at a minimum is on par with that highly regarded lens in terms of IQ. I’m extremely happy with this little lens and if I don’t know what I’m going to encounter, this is the one I have on my camera. I recently spent a week at Disney World and usually carried 3-4 lenses with me (12-40 PRO, 40-150 PRO, 17 1.8, and fisheye) and this lens was used for popbably 90%+ of my shots. It’s a wonderful all-around lens.

Excellent lens for the price!
Was able to try it out in stores and the build quality really impressed me. I wish it was a little wider but the overall focal length is perfect for wide and telephoto needs. I could see this as my go to lens for everyday shooting.
