Carabiner Camera Strap (Blue)

The strap mechanism on this attractive carabiner has the Olympus logo and a small screw for replacing the leather band. So far, so good. The real workhorse of the product should be the carabiner hook itself, and this is where the product fails. The spring in the hook is insufficient to stay closed. Yesterday I nearly lost my Stylus Tough 8000 in the water at Maluaka Beach on Maui because of this malfunction. I knew it was loose from the get-go, but thought it would hold. I would not recommend using it, and I wish I could return it.
