M.Zuiko Digital 1.4x Teleconverter MC-14
Ideal for getting extra close to your subjects beyond your lens’s capability. The MC-14’s splashproof, dustproof and freezeproof all metal construction is compatible with the M.Zuiko ED 40-150mm f2.8 PRO and the M.Zuiko ED 300mm f4.0 PRO. By placing this teleconverter between the camera body and lens, you can increase the magnification of your subject up to 0.6x (equiv. 35mm) and extend the focal length by a factor of 1.4x (40% more reach). When coupled with the M.Zuiko ED 40-150mm f2.8 PRO lens, a maximum focal length of 210mm (420mm equiv. 35mm) can be achieved. Macro shooting is possible at a working distance of 20 inches (50 cm). When coupled with the M.Zuiko ED 300mm f4.0 IS PRO lens, a maximum focal length of 420mm (840mm equiv. 35mm) is achieved. Please note: When using a 1.4x teleconverter, you lose 1 stop of light, so for example, when using an f2.8 lens, the widest aperture you can use the lens at is f4.0.

Nice teleconverter for 40-150 and 300mm lens
I use this with my 40-150 mm pro lens and increases my reach to 410 mm f4 at the longest end. Even at that focal length there is not noticeable difference in sharpness or contrast. Most of the time I leave it with the lens for shooting birds and far away
A tiny little gem!
My first thought once I pulled this item from the package was "wow, that's tiny". I've used 1.4x and 2x teleconverters for full frame over the years, and this is barely noticeable when it's on the 40-150 PRO lens. The image quality is top notch when using this TC, and I can't see any degradation of the image at all on my E-M1 II. It's just an outstanding little piece of glass. It's expensive for such a tiny item, but I still highly recommend it if you have one of the lenses it'll work with.Read More
The only lens I have that is compatible with this teleconveter is the 40-150mm f/2.8 and I can say this combo works very well. The weather-sealing is maintained, the optical penalty is minimal as far as I can tell (as has been shown in technical reviews), the fast focus speed is maintained, and the size and weight increase is minimal. Highly recommended!
Great way to add some reach to the 40-150mm f/2.8!
Bought this to add a bit of reach to my 40-150mm f/2.8 Pro, and I'm very pleased. First impression was how tiny it was! I used the EC-14 on the 50-200mm f/2.8-3.5, so I haven't recovered all the reach I had with that lens, but for extended walks this is a much more comfortable solution. The optic performs superbly, and the fit is excellent both to the body and the lens.
Solid construction - excellent boost and quality
I'm using this on Olympus' M.Zuiko 40-150mm f2.8 lens. You lose one stop of light sensitivity (f2.8 becomes f4.0 automatically) and gain substantial zoom. The MC-14 teleconverter is just as well built as the PRO series lens it attaches to. When you see its size you'll realize how easy it is to travel with via pocket, carry pouch or small camera bag spot. In use, photo quality remains excellent. It will only work for the lenses specified by Olympus (40-150mm f2.8 PRO & 300mm f4.0 IS PRO (late 2017) - don't experiment and risk damaging other lenses).Read More
